This semester, to dine in at Southside and Ike’s, reservations made via Yelp will be required. Reservations help to ensure physical distancing and sanitation of tables/chairs between dining. When you check in at the register you will be told your table section and number. Self-service has also been eliminated at all dining halls, including food and beverage choices.
Yes. Face coverings are required in all dining locations. In Southside and Ike’s, you may remove your face covering only when dining at your assigned table. Face coverings must otherwise be worn throughout the dining hall.

If there are no reservations available, you may either add your name to the waitlist or visit one of our three Simply to Go locations for a grab and go meal.
Simply to Go is a grab and go option exclusive for holders of the following meal plans: Independence, Liberty, Patriot, and Byte plans. Holders of these plans may stop in once per hour to pick up a grab and go meal that includes an entrée, two sides, and a beverage. Simply to Go is located at Gold Rush, just inside Southside, in the lobby.

Yes. All of our registers have been upgraded to allow for contactless transactions at all locations. You simply will hover your Mason ID or payment card over the key pad. Additionally, if you are a meal plan holder, you may enter the dining halls using the Iris System.
Retail locations, like dining halls, will have a limited capacity of patrons to accommodate physical distancing practices. There will be designated areas to wait in line and wait for your order. Many retail locations will not have seating available to comply with social distancing policies.
Yes. Customers may order ahead and skip the line at retail locations by ordering through GrubHub Campus. Customers may also order contactless delivery via the Starship robots. Both apps accept Bonus and Freedom funds attached to the meal plan.
Yes. If you get diagnosed with COVID-19 and are asked to quarantine on campus, connect with Housing to let them know. Housing will coordinate your meals with us.
